If you're unsure whether to use the CWS or Sack Frames, we've put together this explainer to help...
CWS | Single/Double Sack Frame |
---|---|
Requires 110V Power | No Power required (unless using submersible pump) |
Indefinite recycle of wash water | Immediate discharge |
pH control required at end of use | pH control required throughout |
Uses water from CWS | Uses water from truck |
CWS Concrete Washout
All solids are retained in the Adsorption Sack, each sack will take up to 50wash offs. The CWS will recycle washwater indefinitely without needing to be emptied.
For pH correction this system requires manual adding of 2-4drums pH neutraliser. System requires 110V Power supply.
Recommended - The CWS is the easiest to use and most efficient washout for retaining solids, recycling washwater and neutralising pH.
Double or Single Sack Frame
All solids are retained in the Adsorption Sack, each sack will take up to 50wash offs.
These systems require manual adding of reducer in 50ml doses, mixing/agitation & checking pH in between each additional dose until desired pH is achieved.
Double Sack Frames provide the added benefit of no downtime as the system has 2no sacks, allowing you to continue washing into 1 sack whilst replacing the other. Also a larger water capacity allows for less frequent pH treatment.
